During this trip you can
enjoy the whole colour splendour of the desert.
We drive approximately 40
minutes threw a delightful landscape up to the Bedouin of the oasis Ain
Ghudra.
There our camels wait with which we approx. a further hour to the
entrance of the White Canyon ride.
The entrance is spectacular
to master but....
...everyone is abele to do
it.
Our way leads us threw
snow-white desert sand passing by red rocks fissured from the wind.
We let
the time pass by and enjoy our walk.
After a one hour walk we
reach the oasis of Ain Ghudra.
The translation is exactly the same – “The
green eye”.
We make our rest under the
date trees.
The oasis is richly at water, a source supplies the water directly to a
large water basin with which the Beduin maintains their gardens.
Ain Ghudra was once an important stock pile for the caravans which came
down from the holy country passing by the Sinai and continue to "St.
Katharina".
After our camels
strengthened themselves, we ride on another way back.
Passing by a big rock where we can still read some of the old inscriptions
from this time.
At the End of our trip the
Beduin offer us one of their releasing teas.
The women will offer you some of their hand made works to buy. Barging is
more exciting in the dessert.
