philosophy of Sunsplash, and the customs of the Sinai people: |

Sunsplash is a small diving camp with a friendly and family-like atmosphere.
You will find cozy and comfortable places at almost every corner of our establishment. You can also enjoy
company or a good book at our beachside café. You can even play ping-pong.
At Sunsplash we absolutely hate stress. Diving without any hassle is our main focus.
We dive from land, with most drives to get there not lasting longer than thirty minutes. |

Not just a trip to the well-known place “BLUE HOLE” is part of our safari program we also offer two or
one-day trips to the national park
"RAS MOHAMMED"
or boating trips to the
"Thistlegorm"
wreck as well. You can also go by camel to the dive sites of RAS ABU GALUM”.
Our dive centre is run by a Anita, a very experienced diver from Germany, who has been living in Egypt for quite some time.
We work by
PADI certification. |

Keep in mind that you are visiting an African country, which is largely shaped
by the religion of Islam. |

The city of Dahab itself is rather liberal regarding dress codes.
But if you intend to visit the St. Catharine monastery or places in the countryside,
you should keep in mind that long trousers and covered shoulders are appropriate.
Women should also wear a headdress, which we recommend for men also, simply because of the aggressive sun.
The Bedouins will thank you with their hospitality and respect. |

But nevertheless, Dahab has kept its flair as a Beguine village.
Its bazaar invites you to extensive shopping and bargaining. Bargaining is part of the social conduct among
Arabs and should also be undertaken by foreigners.

In Dahab you will find the amenities that most well developed tourist centers have to offer.
This ranges from medical assistance to banks, which accept EC- ATM cards and all major credit cards,
to discotheques and clubs. |
