Where is the Sunsplash Diver Hotel located?Sunsplash Divers Club is located in Dahab, Egypt. The country borders the Mediterranean Sea to the north, Sudan to the south, Libya to the west and the Red Sea to the east on one side and Israel on the other. Dahab is located on the Sinai Peninsula in the Gulf of Aqaba and is accessible by cab through Sharm el Sheik Airport (90km north).

Isn't the Sinai dangerous?Egypt has unfortunately been hit by repeated terrorist attacks in recent years. The country experienced political and social unrest in the early 2010s - but the situation has now improved considerably. Among other things, the government has taken measures to ensure the safety of tourists in particular. When talking about Egyptian terrorism, the word Sinai comes up again and again. But there is one thing to be said about this: Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, with its 61,000 square kilometers, is about three times the size of Israel or 1.5 times the size of Switzerland. The area for which travel warnings apply is North Sinai and the Egyptian-Israeli border area - but this also with the exception of the coastal section and the border town of Taba. Dahab and North Sinai are separated by several hundred kilometers. Dahab, just like Sharm el-Sheikh and Nuweiba are considered safe.

If you are planning a trip to the Ras Mohammed National Park, to St. Kathrin or to the desert and you are not staying longer than two weeks, you do not need a visa or only the free "Sinai-only-Visa". However, this special regulation does not apply if the entry is made via Cairo.
